About

Self portrait, reflection on polished brass sheets

Hey, I’m Mariana, I’m passionate about exploring the connection between modern life and the natural world through re-purposing and transforming discarded objects into works of art. With a diverse portfolio that spans from traditional printmaking, jewelry making to experimental forms like land art and trash art, I continually seek to challenge myself to rethink traditional art mediums and push the boundaries of creativity.

My art practice is rooted in the pursuit of creativity and self-discovery. I’m constantly experimenting with different materials and techniques, seeking to re-imagine traditional art forms in new and expressive ways. As a result, my creative process is an ever-evolving and experimental journey of exploration.

For me, art is all about exploration and experimentation. That’s why I’m constantly pushing myself to try out new materials and techniques, always seeking to learn and grow as an artist.
